    Creating a Conditional Formatting Formula

    To make a conditional formula, open the report in Design mode. You should utilize Rich client or App Interface and shouldn't work in Web mode.

    Go to Analysis → Conditional → New Rule. It will open formatting rule editor.


    Enter the rule name and description. Select the cell contents in filtered item or cell box.


    You can choose Operator and Operands value. You need to define text formatting in Format tab. Click on Format to set the formatting of the tab.


    You can choose the text, font style, size, effects (underline, and so on>
    and alignment. Whenever formatting is defined for condition, you need to click Ok.

    Presently to apply conditional formatting to the item, select the column in the report. Go to formatting rules dropdown → Select the conditional formatting rules checkbox you have made.


    Conditional formatting will be applied to the ideal cells. You can add various conditions in a solitary formatting rule on numerous items.


    Manage Conditional Formatting Rules

    Go to Analysis tab → Conditional → Manage Rules.


    When you click 'Manage Rules', it will open window for Conditional Formats. To alter a rule, select the rule and tap on Edit. You can likewise change the request for Conditional Formatting rules.
